The majority of beer connoisseurs prefer drinking their favorite beverage in a bar or pub, not in the open air, that is why the issue of selling kegs' beer in bars and cafes becomes very urgent. Therefore, every bartender or an owner of a restaurant has to buy a beer keg dispenser. If you don't have one, close your bar and go home.
For the beer dispensing the system Pre-mix is used. It works like this: there is some half-finished beverage (in this case bear in kegs), to make it ready for drinking it should be saturated with carbonic acid (a process of carbonation) and cooled off till the temperature, at which it can be dispensing (6-10?C, that depends on a sort of beer). Such dispensing systems can be mounted on a counter and under the counter.
A set of dispensing equipment mounted on a counter is smaller in size and productivity and cheaper: the productivity of this kind of beer equipment is 10 to 35 liter an hour of one or two sorts, rarely three sorts. Under-counter beer keg dispenser systems for beer cooling and dispensing are more expensive and powerful, their productivity can be 25 to 250 liter an hour (from 2 to 14 sorts of beer).
Before buying the equipment, you should get consultation from a seller. He will ask what kind of establishment you have - a small cafes (in this case On-counter dispensing system will be enough) or a big reputable bar or restaurant with many visitors. Having found out the number of seats in you establishment a seller can calculate necessary power of a dispensing and cooling system. The second main issue is a design of a place. Beer dispensing towers can be different - classical ceramic or metal. While choosing a tower, it is also important to choose its form and color. A Cooler is a most expansive part in the whole set of beer equipment. The main task is not to make a mistake choosing a beer cooler. If you choose too powerful cooler it may cost you lots of money though, may be, you don't even need a cooler with such power. On the contrary, if you buy a cooler, the productivity of which isn't very high, you clients will be disappointed because your beer will be not cool enough. There are two types of coolers - a water cooling machine (it is also called a flowing type of a cooler) and a dry cooling machine. In the first type the water is poured into a special bath and is cooled off with the help of a compressor. In dry coolers a bath where beer lines and a cooling circuit are located, is filled with special gel or aluminum. Dry coolers begin operating faster than water ones (you can start dispensing beer in 7-10 minutes, whereas a water cooler requires at least an hour to get a necessary power), but they are also very considerably more expensive than water ones.
There is one more useful equipment for a beer keg dispenser - a bar gun. It allows pouring beer from a dispenser by pressing a button. With a bar gun you can control and set the size of a portion, and take into account every drop, so, you won't waste your beer in vain. Usually it is mounted right under the counter, where there are kegs with a pump and a hose connected to each of them. All of this is fastened to a cooler, special controlling device and a dispenser. There are 3 main world-known producers of bar gun systems - Wunder-bar, Easybàr and Berg.
The equipment of a cooler and a beer keg dispenser is calculated to serve minimum 6-8 years. But you shouldn't forget about maintenance. Nowadays every wise owner of a bar or a restaurant realizes the necessity of beer equipment rinsing and cleaning. The dust, occurred inside a cooling machine may result in warming of beer. So, take care of your equipment and your clients.
